The above photo is our opening hunt at our new home, the LazyK 11Ranch   Directions to the ranch – Hwy 86 east, then north on Commanche Creek Rd.  (this road is 4 ½ miles east of Kiowa.  It is the only road you can turn north on before you reach the Comanche Creek bridge.) Go north 5 ½ miles to County Road 150.  Turn east for 5 miles.  Cross a cattle guard, the long Bijou Creek bridge and another cattle guard.  Look for the green gates on the south, opposite Elbert Co Road 85.  Turn south and follow the road for 1 mile to the headquarters. Directions to Lazy K North - Take the Kiowa-Bennett Road (Ute Ave.) North from the middle of Kiowa for 8.4 miles (pavement ends).  Turn right (east) on Road 166. Go 4.0 miles to the junction of Road 65. Turn left (north) on Road 65 for 2 miles to the second driveway on the right (the first driveway PAST the white gate).  This is a long driveway toward the trees/ Upi wo;; see trailers at the end.
